FUDMA Enables Portal For Post-UTME Candidates Who Recently Changed To The Institution


All candidates who changed to Federal University Dutsin-Ma and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose FUDMA as 1st choice can access the University portal for online Post-UTME registration which will commence from Tuesday, 19th September, 2017 to Friday, 29th September, 2017.

LAGOS STATE JUNIOR WAEC RESULTS RELEASED—2017/2018


The Lagos State Examinations Board has
announced the release of results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for students in Public and Private Junior Secondary Schools (III) in the State.
A release from the Office, of the Director, State Examinations Board, Mr. Oluwafemi Hassan, implored students of Public Junior Secondary schools to collect their results at their respective Education Districts while students of approved Private Junior Secondary Schools are to collect theirs at the Board Headquarters on presentation of receipts of payment.

It stated further that as part of efforts to ensure that qualitative education is provided in Lagos Public Secondary Schools and Approved Private Secondary Schools, the State Government has set up modalities to ensure that all the
examinations conducted by the Board are without any malpractice.
Recall that the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) conducted in the June 2017 was to test the suitability of students for promotion from the Ninth Year (JSSIII) to the Senior Secondary School (SSSI) of the Basic Education Class.

UNIZIK Important Notice To Post-UTME Candidates 2017/2018


This is to inform all Post-UTME candidates of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) that they are to note the following as it concerns the screening exercise.
1. Candidates who applied for Change of Course and Institution to UNIZIK can now proceed for their Post UTME registration.
2. Candidates whose images do not appear on their print out can now log into their profile and reprint.
3. Candidates who wish to use their newly released NECO result can log into their profile, fill in their result and reprint.

SLU KAFIN 2017/2018 UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM(CUT OFF MARK 160)


This is to invite all First Choice candidates
seeking for admission into the Sule Lamido
University (SLU), Kafin Hausa for the 2017/18
Academic Session to register for the Post-
UTME Screening as detailed below. Direct Entry
candidates who have chosen SLU as their First
Choice Institution are also requested to register
in order to take part in the Exercise.
CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR SLU
POST UTME.
UTME Candidates MUST have passed a
minimum of 5 relevant subjects, at
credit level, in the Senior Secondary
School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or
equivalent in not more than two (2)
sittings, including English and
Mathematics.
Direct Entry Candidates MUST possess
a minimum of Lower Credit at National
Diploma, a Merit at NCE level and a
minimum of 8 points in the IJMBE A/
Level.

The Screening Exercise for both the UTME and
DE candidates will take place as follows:
Faculty of Humanities
– Wednesday 4th October,
2017
Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences
– Thursday 5 th October, 2017
Faculty of Education
– Friday 6th October, 2017
Candidates must present the Originals and
photocopies of the following documents:
1. Acknowledgement Slip
2. Evidence of Payment
3. UTME Result/DE Registration Slip
4. SSCE Statement(s) of Result
5. Two recent passport-sized photographs
with white background
6. Certificate of Indigeneship
7. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
8. ‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE
candidates only)
Any candidate who fails to appear for the
screening exercise on the date he/she is invited
will not be considered for admission into the
University during the 2017/2018 Academic
Session.

National Merit Award – For applicants from Non- Host communities.

Requirement / Eligibility
To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST be:
Registered Full TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions Certified 100 level students at the time of
application (Only students admitted in 2016/2017
academic session)

NOTE: The following categories of students should not apply:
200 level students and above Current beneficiaries of similar Awards from otherbCompanies and Agencies
Dependants of NAOC/NAE/AENR Only Indigenes of NAOC Host Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.

Course of Study:

Only applicants studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences and Agricultural Science are eligible for the National Merit Award.

NOTE: The aptitude test will take place at designated centers to be communicated to applicants on a later date and applicants are to fully bear the cost of transportation to and from Aptitude test centres.

UNIMAID DEGREE CHANGE OF COURSE/INTER-UNIVERSITY FORM OUT—-2017/2018


The management of University Of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) wishes to inform all staffs and students of the University that the sales of forms for Inter-University and inter-Departmental have commence for the 2017/2018 academic
session.
Interested students are to pay a non-refundable sum of #100,000.00 for Inter-University and #50,000.00 for inter-Departmental transfer at the Microfinance Bank, University of Maiduguri and obtain Bursary receipt before collection of forms from the Directorate of Senate and Academic matters.
